Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guy Cochrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutues Longtomeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brutues Longtomeo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cochrane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Longtomeo did well to prevent Cochrane getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Longtomeo gets back to full guard.
Cochrane trying to control the position from guard on top but Longtomeo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cochrane with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Cochrane is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Longtomeo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cochrane has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Longtomeo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cochrane lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Cochrane loads up on a big left hand. Longtomeo felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Cochrane looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Longtomeo can't hide his disappointment, as Cochrane celebrates the victory.
