Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Travis Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boba Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett throws a quick inside leg kick.
Davies shoots in looking for a takedown. Fett tries to sprawl out of it but Davies keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Davies closes the distance and clinches.
Davies is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fett is defending well.

Fett will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Davies up against the cage.

Davies seems to have got his legs back now.
Fett lands a knee to the body.

Fett lands a good knee to the midsection. Davies won't want to take too many of those.

Davies looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Davies wants to take the fight to the mat but Fett manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fett turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fett manages to end up in side control.
Davies is looking to reverse the position.
Fett lands an elbow.
You can see the frustration on Davies's face as Fett controls the position.

It looks like Fett might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Check out the look on Fett's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Fett remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The referee asks Fett politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fett prefers to stall for the moment though.

Davies is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fett connects with a decent elbow.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fett wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davies, who protects the arm well.
Davies wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boba Fett dominated that round.
That's time! Davies's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A combination from Davies does no damage.
Fett has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Davies on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Fett jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fett fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Davies to the ground. Fett is now in Davies's guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fett is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Davies knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fett on the ground.
