Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Parker Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Jenele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francis Jenele is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jenele on his heels. He'll look to pass Jenele's guard now, I'm sure.
Jenele looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cross keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jenele's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cross is working Jenele over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Cross stands up from Jenele's guard - Cross perhaps looking for a knockout.
Jenele drives through and clinches with Cross against the cage.
Cross tries to break the clinch but Jenele is controlling the position.
Jenele pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jenele shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Cross really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cross gets full guard.
Cross is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cross looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cross will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jenele is sitting in close to Cross's body. Cross has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jenele is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jenele is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cross.
