Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Alvarez is countered with a crisp right hand from Lamb that sends him to the canvas! Lamb follows him to the mat into side control.


That has opened up Michael Alvarez's cut even more.

Alvarez tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Lamb presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Lamb is taking a breather. Alvarez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
