The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hier looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hier with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Hier with an attempt at a knee that misses.
shakur avoiding damage as Hier throws knees to the body.

shakur goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hier prevents it.
shakur tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hier smiles and moves away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hier scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
shakur slips a jab and a cross from Hier.
Hier doesn't manage to clinch there - shakur circles away.
Hier misses with a few strikes there.
Hier closes the distance and clinches.

Hier tries a knee to the head but shakur blocks it.

Hier connects with a nasty looking knee right to shakur's face.

Hier jerks shakur's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! shakur drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Hier goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Hier because shakur was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
