The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teravainen lands a body shot.
Dominic Berzins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Teravainen moves away from the strike by Berzins.
Teravainen thuds a left hand into Berzins's body.
Berzins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Berzins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Berzins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Teravainen's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Teravainen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Berzins darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Berzins jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Berzins instigates a clinch.
Berzins working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Teravainen can't find room to land a body shot as Berzins controls the action.
Teravainen misses with a hook to the ribs.
Teravainen tries to stall but Berzins uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Berzins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Teravainen backwards.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Teravainen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Still in the clinch, Teravainen scores with a nice short uppercut.

Teravainen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

enabling Teravainen to counter with a crisp jab.

Berzins lands with an overhand left.

and Teravainen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Teravainen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Berzins manages to avoid it.
Berzins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Teravainen.
Berzins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Teravainen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Berzins avoids the body shot from Teravainen.
Berzins lands with a big right hook that stumbles Teravainen - he's out on his feet here! Berzins follows up with another monster hook that separates Teravainen from consciousness! Teravainen falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Berzins stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
