Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Hazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garry Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garry Stout has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazard throws a nice looking combination but Stout bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stout looks for a takedown but Hazard sprawls well.
Hazard slaps away a takedown attempt from Stout, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hazard throws a series of punches but Stout avoids them all with ease.
Stout is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hazard has had enough of the clinch but Stout keeps him there for the moment.

Hazard tries to work over Stout's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Hazard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Hazard is pressed up against the cage. Stout has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hazard down to the mat. Hazard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Stout shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hazard sprawls well. Hazard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stout gets slowly back to his feet.
Stout will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hazard lands with a big left! Stout is wobbled badly! Hazard comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Stout to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
