Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mo Dough!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Che Hoe!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoe tries to clinch there but Dough circles away.
Dough gets a double leg takedown into Hoe's guard.
Dough stays in close to Hoe's body and controls the position.
Dough trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hoe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dough drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dough jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hoe keeping full guard, as Dough tries to pass.
Hoe wants to stand up but Dough is controlling him.
Dough works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dough passes to side control.
Dough has hold of Hoe's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hoe tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dough cranks the arm and Hoe screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hoe, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mo Dough!
