Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeet Bhatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Kaede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ken Kaede was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeet Bhatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Kaede!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaede lands with a cross.
Kaede tries to bum rush Bhatt with a series of wild strikes but Bhatt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bhatt goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kaede slaps away a takedown attempt from Bhatt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bhatt takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kaede moves out of range as Bhatt throws a body kick.
Bhatt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bhatt scores with a head kick. Kaede tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Bhatt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kaede's waist but Kaede gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bhatt off to one side.
Bhatt throws a head kick that misses.
Kaede lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bhatt walks into a left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bhatt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaede pinned against the cage. Kaede gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeet Bhatt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kaede bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bhatt shoots in for a takedown but Kaede shows good takedown defense.
Bhatt is breathing heavily.
Bhatt misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bhatt shoots in and drives through. Kaede sprawls well.
Kaede slaps away a takedown attempt from Bhatt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Kaede. That snapped Bhatt's head back.
Kaede catches Bhatt with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bhatt is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ken Kaede is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bhatt throws a leg kick but Kaede checks it.
Kaede lands a lovely overhand right.
Bhatt is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kaede drops Bhatt with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bhatt! Kaede dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Kaede!
