Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Oneal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jewer LaVallee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jesse Oneal has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Oneal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jewer LaVallee!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaVallee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oneal as he avoids it easily.

LaVallee tries for a takedown but Oneal sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jesse Oneal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jewer LaVallee.
Oneal tries to clinch but LaVallee moves out of range.
LaVallee misses with a takedown
enabling Oneal to counter with a crisp jab.
LaVallee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Oneal counters with a thumping low kick.
Oneal displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from LaVallee.
LaVallee ducks under a wild hook from Oneal.
Oneal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Oneal doesn't manage to clinch there - LaVallee circles away.
LaVallee throws a poor cross that misses
and Oneal cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Oneal closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
LaVallee wants to take the fight to the mat but Oneal manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Oneal gets control of LaVallee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Oneal will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Oneal is refusing to be controlled, as LaVallee sits in half guard.

LaVallee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

LaVallee misses with a head shot. Oneal uses the momentum to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LaVallee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Oneal can't do much from the bottom here.
LaVallee is looking to take a break and control but Oneal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Oneal is letting LaVallee control him for a moment.

LaVallee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

LaVallee tries for a kimura but Oneal is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ground and pound from LaVallee seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jewer LaVallee dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Oneal gets caught napping as LaVallee dives in and scores a takedown. Oneal manages to retain guard.

LaVallee drops back, looking for a kneebar! Oneal looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Oneal looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Oneal!
Oneal tries to score with some ground and pound. LaVallee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
LaVallee wants to control but Oneal postures up.
LaVallee manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

LaVallee looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Oneal throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jewer LaVallee has got the better of the ground game so far.

LaVallee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Oneal pulls his head out easily.

Oneal is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from LaVallee as he works his way to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

LaVallee has his foot on Oneal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oneal works his way back into a safe position though.

Oneal throws a strike but LaVallee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LaVallee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jewer LaVallee was stalling too much, according to the referee.
LaVallee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Oneal counters with a stiff right hand.

and Oneal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

LaVallee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oneal's waist but Oneal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing LaVallee off to one side.

LaVallee is breathing heavily.
LaVallee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Oneal defends it nicely.
LaVallee tries to bum rush Oneal with a series of wild strikes but Oneal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
LaVallee swings away with a body shot that misses
and Oneal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oneal cracks LaVallee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oneal dives in for a single leg takedown but LaVallee sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Oneal gets underhooks to prevent LaVallee's takedown attempt.
LaVallee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Oneal prevents it.
Oneal prevents a takedown attempt there.

Oneal has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by LaVallee after a bit of a struggle.
Oneal has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Oneal pulls guard effortlessly.
LaVallee trying to control but Oneal is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jewer LaVallee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


LaVallee has his takedown stuffed
and Oneal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Oneal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but LaVallee swivels and escapes.
LaVallee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oneal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten LaVallee somewhat.
LaVallee doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Oneal counters with a stiff right hand.
Jesse Oneal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jewer LaVallee.
Horrible takedown by LaVallee or perhaps it was just good defense by Oneal which made him look bad.
LaVallee leaves Oneal with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
LaVallee fails to land the takedown.
Oneal goes for a double leg but LaVallee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as LaVallee continues to drive forward.

Oneal breaks from the clinch.
LaVallee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
LaVallee fails with the takedown
and Oneal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
LaVallee tries for a takedown but Oneal circles away easily
letting Oneal counter with a right hand.
Oneal scores with a jab to the jaw.
Oneal lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

LaVallee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Oneal to the mat! Oneal manages to get full guard.
LaVallee won't allow Oneal to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Oneal is on top in guard.
Oneal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LaVallee on the ground.

LaVallee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oneal gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jewer LaVallee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got LaVallee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
