Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ace Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apio Okafor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okafor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by how i could just kill a man. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okafor misses with a head kick.
Johnson digs a good hook to Okafor's body.
Okafor leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Johnson throws a right hand that Okafor ducks under and follows up with a left that Okafor also avoids with ease.

and Okafor counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Okafor.
Johnson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Okafor just stands there and leans against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Okafor avoids them all with ease.

Okafor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Okafor is avoiding it.
Johnson misses the shot to the body.
Okafor fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Johnson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Johnson is looking to wear down Okafor with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Okafor. Johnson shrugs it off though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Okafor was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson.
Ace Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Ace Johnson will probably get the nod.

The fighters circle momentarily. Okafor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Okafor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Okafor avoids it really well and circles away.

Okafor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Johnson's head.
Ace Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Okafor defends it nicely.

Apio Okafor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Johnson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Okafor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.
Johnson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Okafor lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Johnson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Okafor to score with a decent uppercut.

Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Okafor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
