The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalgratas attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Barboza misses with a right hand
and Jalgratas counters with a head kick.

Barboza tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jalgratas is able to avoid easily.
We've been hearing reports that Barboza has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
