Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Phil Lynott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Versus The World (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynott comes to the ring accompanied by Out in the Fields. The World has chosen The lost vikings as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Phil Lynott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynott throws a head kick that misses.

The World tries to bum rush Lynott with a series of wild strikes but Lynott uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lynott tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. The World manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The World throws a series of punches but Lynott avoids them all with ease.

The fighters circle momentarily. The World darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The World has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That kick from The World tenderised Lynott's leg. Lynott is trying to keep his angry face on.

and The World counters with a good low kick that Lynott was not able to check.

The World comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The World connects with a solid leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for The World.
A punch lands to the side of Lynott 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Phil Lynott has been cut.
The World paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lynott is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lynott walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

During a confident post fight interview, Versus The World thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
