The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peoples is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Peoples fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guseinov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Guseinov throws a series of strikes that have Peoples backpedaling.

It looks like Cecil Peoples has been cut.
Peoples rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Guseinov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Peoples misses the target.
Peoples swinging wildly here.
Peoples smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Peoples fails in his attempt to clinch.
Guseinov slips under a jab.
Guseinov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peoples throws out a loose jab but Guseinov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Guseinov throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Guseinov throws a right and a left that Peoples avoids nicely.
Guseinov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Guseinov throws a head kick but Peoples moves out of range.

Peoples pushes Guseinov up against the ropes in a clinch.

Peoples throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Guseinov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Guseinov is still on wobbly legs! Can Peoples finish him?
Peoples fails with an attempt to clinch.
Peoples throws a looping overhand right but Guseinov ducks down to avoid it.
Guseinov seems to have recovered his senses.
Guseinov tries to move into range but Peoples moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Peoples loads up on a big right hand but Guseinov slips the punch.
Peoples moves out of range of the body kick from Guseinov.
Guseinov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Guseinov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Guseinov feints a jab promting Peoples to slip. Guseinov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Peoples slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Peoples is rocked!
Peoples glances at the clock... BAM! Guseinov nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Peoples crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Peoples is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mustafa Guseinov!
A relieved looking Mustafa Guseinov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Cecil Peoples spoke after the fight, saying 'Next time, I will smash this chump with the spinning backfist'.
