The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David lands a nice hook to Roundthwaite's body. Roundthwaite takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
David tests Roundthwaite's chin there with a solid looking shot.
David connects with a jab.
David cracks a nice hook into Roundthwaite's ribs.
David scores with a nice right hand.
David dips to his left and cracks Roundthwaite with an uppercut!
David keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
David looks to land a combination. Roundthwaite sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Roundthwaite drives through with a takedown into David's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Roundthwaite walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

David has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Oscar Roundthwaite just wasn't active enough.
David lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

David works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. David darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Roundthwaite will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Marshall David is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Roundthwaite with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling David to score with a decent uppercut.
Roundthwaite drops his hands momentarily and David takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Roundthwaite gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Roundthwaite moves forwards but David connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roundthwaite's hands are dropping dangerously low here and David connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Roundthwaite scrambles back to his feet.

Marshall David showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

David is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Roundthwaite goes for a double leg but David avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as David continues to drive forward.
Roundthwaite fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscar Roundthwaite. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Roundthwaite jumps guard but David turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Roundthwaite is trying to push David away but David has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A left hand lands to the body for David.
David lands with a light punch inside.

David pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Roundthwaite is on the wrong end of a nice combination from David.
Roundthwaite slips a jab and a cross from David.

and David decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Roundthwaite's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
David wants to stand but Roundthwaite has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Roundthwaite can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as David controls the pace.
Roundthwaite might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Roundthwaite seems keen to control David's posture.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marshall David wasn't active enough on the ground.
David lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by David.

David fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Oscar Roundthwaite has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

David cracks Roundthwaite with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
David keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A combination from David does no damage.
David lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Roundthwaite looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
David ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

David lands with an uppercut that bounces Roundthwaite off the cage and back into range.

David throws a right hand that Roundthwaite ducks under and follows up with a left that Roundthwaite also avoids with ease.

Roundthwaite gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Roundthwaite closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into David's guard.

Roundthwaite postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! David is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roundthwaite, into his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Marshall David comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think David has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
