The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byyri slips a jab from Scarpi.
Scarpi throws a big shot that misses.

Byyri misses with a left hand
and Scarpi counters with a left to the body.
Byyri looks to land a left hand but Scarpi moved out of range nicely.
A swing and a miss from Scarpi.
Byyri throws a body punch but Scarpi moves out of range.
Byyri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Byyri connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scarpi's hands.
Byyri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scarpi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Scarpi thows a body shot but no joy.
Byyri misses with an uppercut. Scarpi saw that one coming.
Byyri slips under a jab from Scarpi.
Byyri gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Byyri takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Scarpi misses with a straight left.
Byyri throws a hook to the side of Scarpi's head but Scarpi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Byyri rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Scarpi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Byyri looks winded!
Scarpi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Arto Byyri has been cut.

Scarpi misses with a looping left.
Byyri throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Scarpi cracks Byyri with a good jab.
Scarpi misses with a wild body shot.
Scarpi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Scarpi pounces like a tiger and cracks Byyri with a vicious hook! Byyri is down but not out! Scarpi follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
