The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Delimar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Meyer tries to kick Delimar off but Delimar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Delimar escapes and gets back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Meyer tries to keep at a distance but Delimar has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Meyer is trying to get back to his feet.
Delimar tries to move into full mount but can't pass Meyer's legs.
Meyer tries to bench press Delimar off him but Delimar keeps the position.
Meyer is not content to let Delimar control the position.
Delimar lands an elbow.

Meyer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Meyer tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Delimar cracks Meyer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Delimar stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
A head kick misses from Delimar.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Meyer enables Delimar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Meyer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Delimar stands and steps away. Meyer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Delimar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Delimar lands in his opponent's guard.
Oh Meyer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Delimar steps in with a hook that catches Meyer right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Delimar follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Meyer looks absolutely devastated.
