Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Joseph Amadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Je Tunaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amadi comes to the ring accompanied by Tupac - Out On Bail. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joseph Amadi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Je Tunaki!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tunaki takes the fight into the clinch.
Tunaki prevents Amadi from breaking the clinch.
Tunaki unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Amadi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A bit of stalling here from Tunaki.

Tunaki breaks from the clinch.
Amadi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tunaki.
Tunaki takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Tunaki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Tunaki lands a shot to the body.
A bit of stalling here from Tunaki.

Tunaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tunaki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tunaki swings for the body but Amadi moves out of range.
Tunaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Amadi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tunaki misses with an uppercut.

Tunaki has Amadi up against the ropes in a clinch.
Amadi lands a body punch in the clinch.
Amadi misses with a hook from the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Amadi fails to land.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tunaki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tunaki ducks into a a hook from Amadi and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tunaki slips a jab from Amadi.

Tunaki pushes Amadi up against the ropes in a clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Tunaki.
Amadi tries to throw a body punch but Tunaki avoids it by throwing Amadi back against the ropes.
Tunaki will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Amadi up against the ropes.
Amadi misses with a hook to the ribs.
A body shot lands from Tunaki.
Tunaki wants to stall.
Tunaki with a knee to the head.
Tunaki is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Tunaki lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Tunaki connects with a nasty looking knee right to Amadi's face.
Tunaki lands a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tunaki breaks from the clinch.
Amadi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tunaki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Amadi throws out the jab.
Amadi throws a poor cross that misses
and Tunaki counters with a big head kick but Amadi shrugs it off.
Amadi throws the left hand but Tunaki avoids the punch easily.
Amadi throws a leg kick

and Tunaki counters by moving into the clinch.
A short right from Amadi on the inside.
Tunaki blocks an uppercut.
Amadi swings wildly with an uppercut but Tunaki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tunaki lands a nice uppercut.
Tunaki scores with a knee to the head.
Tunaki throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Amadis head.
Tunaki will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Amadi up against the ropes.

Tunaki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tunaki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Amadi's head backwards.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tunaki is looking to clinch.
A lazy left from Amadi finds it's target.


Tunaki is rocked!
Tunaki tries to get into range but Amadi steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Tunaki! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Amadi scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joseph Amadi!
Joseph Amadi is the new light heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking Joseph Amadi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Je Tunaki spoke after the fight, saying 'i do not believe he was the better fighter and i would love to have a rematch as soon as possible'.
