Mastain wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A jab lands there for Mastain.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mastain.
Mastain forces Lesnar back against the cage and clinches.

Mastain lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lesnar or not.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mastain lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Mastain manages to break the clinch.
Mastain connects with a body shot that sends Lesnar 's belly button to the back.

A short body shot lands from Mastain as the two fighters clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lesnar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Lesnar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dave Mastain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mastain, right into the meat.
Mastain lands a jab.
Lesnar is rocked!
Lesnar get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Lesnar stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Mastain runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Dave Mastain is the new heavyweight champion!
Dave Mastain decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
