Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ellert Roberts!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roberts drives through and clinches with Fadda against the cage.
Fadda swings wildly with an uppercut but Roberts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Roberts stops a takedown attempt from Fadda.
Fadda has Roberts pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Roberts manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Roberts cracks Fadda with a nice body shot.
Fadda wants a takedown but no success here.
Fadda definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Fadda is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Roberts to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Roberts shrugs it off.

Fadda is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Roberts has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Roberts!

Roberts got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fadda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roberts has managed to get both his arms back between Fadda's legs - danger averted.
Fadda has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Fadda is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roberts is aware though and is defending well.

Fadda shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Roberts counters with a left and a right that stings Fadda.
Fadda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roberts paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Fadda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roberts sprawls well initially but Fadda persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Roberts is trying to stand back up but Fadda is controlling him
Fadda is looking to take a break and control but Roberts is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fadda is working for a kimura but Roberts is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roberts pushes Fadda off looking to stand but Fadda dives back in and keeps control.

Roberts is trying to escape the mount but Fadda keeps good control and instead manages to take Roberts's back.

Fadda is working for a rear naked choke. Roberts is not defending it well and Fadda has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Roberts refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Roberts's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
