The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws the kick towards the body but Alan avoids it.

Alan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Alan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Thomas can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
