The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartley misses with the combination.
Leon catches Hartley with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hartley misses the jab.
Hartley closes the distance and clinches up with Leon, looking for a takedown. Hartley pushes Leon against the cage but Leon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hartley swings for the body but Leon moves out of range.
Hartley looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A big right from Hartley misses.
Leon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hartley. Leon does a little dance to reset his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Leon tries to land a leg kick but Hartley saw it coming and moves away.
Leon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Hartley is rocked!

Leon lands a left and a right that send Hartley crashing to the mat, dazed. Leon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hartley is still on wobbly legs! Can Leon finish him?

Hartley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Leon was well out of range. Poor timing from Hartley.
Leon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hartley.
Leon fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Hartley to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Hartley looks to clinch but Leon throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Hartley taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
