Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiny Mcfacepunch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Houssam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcfacepunch comes to the cage accompanied by Ooh La La. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfacepunch just misses with a punch to the body.
Houssam looks for a takedown but Mcfacepunch sprawls well.
Mcfacepunch throws a head kick but Houssam moves out of range.
Houssam ducks under a wild hook from Mcfacepunch.
Mcfacepunch shoots in and drives through. Houssam sprawls well.

Houssam has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Mcfacepunch has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Mcfacepunch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Houssam blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Houssam is trying to trip Mcfacepunch. He has hold of a leg but Mcfacepunch is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Houssam persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mohamed Houssam hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mcfacepunch tries to bum rush Houssam with a series of wild strikes but Houssam uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mcfacepunch shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Houssam manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mcfacepunch's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcfacepunch looking to sit in guard and control but Houssam gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

and Houssam counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Houssam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcfacepunch as he jumps to the side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A determined Mohamed Houssam didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
