Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fred Baggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Smith!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Baggins does a little dance to reset his feet.
Baggins misses with a wild body shot.
Baggins just misses with a punch to the body.
Baggins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Baggins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Baggins throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range.
Smith tries to clinch there but Baggins circles away.
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Baggins is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Baggins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Baggins throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Jab, jab by Baggins - just one landing.
Smith throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Baggins counters with a series of strikes. Smith will be more careful next time no doubt.
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Baggins ducks down to avoid it.
Baggins misses with a hook to the body
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Smith throws a combination that misses
and Baggins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Baggins.

Smith rushes Baggins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Smith.
Smith misses with a hook from the clinch.
Baggins has Smith pressed against the cage.
Smith is stalling here.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Baggins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Smith backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Baggins can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Fred Baggins.
Smith scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Baggins misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Smith throws a push kick but Baggins slaps the foot to one side.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Baggins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Baggins moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Baggins moved out of range nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Baggins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Baggins with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Baggins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smith scores with a jab.
Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Baggins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smith can pounce on him.
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith throws a right and a left that Baggins avoids nicely.
Baggins on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Smith avoids the body shot from Baggins.
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baggins circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith scores with a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Baggins dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Baggins fails to land with a series of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Smith.
Smith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Smith is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Baggins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Baggins avoids it.
Baggins ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Baggins throws out a loose jab but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Baggins throws an overhand right that lands on Smith's shoulder, as Smith tries to avoid the shot.
Baggins is looking to wear down Smith with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Baggins misses with a body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Baggins thows a body shot but no joy.
Baggins blocks a head kick by Smith.
Baggins throws a head kick that misses
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Fred Baggins will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Baggins throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily.
Baggins rushes Smith with punches - Smith moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Smith goes down! Baggins follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Baggins!
Fred Baggins seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
