Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taz Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ace Of Spades. Watt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Edmund Fitzgerald. Scott Watt has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz Brandon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Watt!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brandon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brandon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Watt.
Some wild striking there from Brandon.
Brandon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Watt tries to clinch there but Brandon circles away.
Brandon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Watt's sensitive parts.
Watt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Watt has managed to clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Watt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Watt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Watt shoots for a takedown but Brandon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Brandon dives in and scores a takedown into Watt's guard.

Watt wants to stand and escape but Brandon is having none of it.
Brandon forces his way into half guard.
Brandon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Watt regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Brandon.
Brandon won't allow Watt to get back to his feet.
Watt wants to sweep here but Brandon controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brandon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Watt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brandon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Watt is rocked!
Brandon loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Watt scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Brandon land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Brandon stands and salutes the crowd.
