Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joray Jorey!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.

Jorey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rush is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rush is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rush seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jorey for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jorey looks to throw the jab but Rush is out of range.
Rush looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jorey is fending him off so far but Rush persists. Nope, Jorey circles away and we're back to standing.

Jorey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rush manages to avoid it.
Joray Jorey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jorey scores with the left hand. Rush knows he should have avoided that one.
Jorey throws a lazy right hand but Rush sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rush tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jorey was well out of range. Poor timing from Rush.
Jorey throws a looping overhand right but Rush ducks down to avoid it.
Jorey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rush. Rush circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Rush goes for a double leg but Jorey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jorey continues to drive forward.

Rush has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jorey after a bit of a struggle.

Rush thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jorey's head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rush connects with a nice short shot to Jorey's temple.

Rush lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jorey! More strikes land and this one is all over! Rush jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

A relieved looking James Rush thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
