The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos misses with a looping left.

Santiago shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Santiago was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Santiago looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Santiago thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Santiago is looking to take a break and control but Ramos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ramos's coaches at Warrior Dogs have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Santiago works to advance to full mount. Ramos defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Santiago can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ramos is looking to escape.
Santiago is looking to work his way around to Ramos's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Santiago wants to control but Ramos is keeping busy.

Santiago has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Ramos is defending well but eventually Santiago manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Ramos has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
