Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michiel Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Frazier!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Frazier sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ho somewhat.
Frazier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ho circles away quickly and effectively.

Ho has Frazier up against the cage in a clinch.
Ho could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ho taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Frazier jumps guard but Ho stands there with Frazier around his waist. Frazier gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Frazier looking for a takedown.
Ho is looking to take this one to the mat.
Ho has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Frazier after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michiel Ho. That's going to take a lot out of him.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Frazier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ho swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd cheers as Frazier lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ho doesn't seem phased though.

Ho pushes Frazier up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ho takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ho jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frazier walks away with a smile on his face. Ho gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Ho clinches up with Frazier and pushes him back against the cage.
Ho landing knees to the body.
Frazier is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Frazier tries to pull guard but Ho holds him up against the cage and eventually Frazier drops back down to his feet.
Frazier jumps guard but Ho stands there with Frazier around his waist. Frazier gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Frazier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ho has time to react.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

It looks like Mike Frazier has been cut.

Frazier is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ho.

Ho gets in close and instigates a clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Frazier leaves Ho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Frazier darts in looking for a takedown but Ho gets double underhooks and turns Frazier into the cage.

Ho manages to pull guard.

Ho is pulling down on Frazier's head. It's preventing any offense from Frazier, at least for the moment.
Ho controls Frazier momentarily but Frazier frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Michiel Ho will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ho has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Frazier uses from the top position.
Ho wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Ho has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ho goes for a double leg but Frazier avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Frazier continues to drive forward.

Frazier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Frazier looks to land a combination. Ho sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ho misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ho shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Frazier sprawls well. Frazier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ho gets slowly back to his feet.
Frazier scores with the left hand. Ho knows he should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Frazier pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ho back to the cage. Frazier follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Michiel Ho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ho tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Frazier defends well and Ho ends up having to push Frazier into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ho wants to get up but he can't break Frazier's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frazier has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ho has managed to get both his arms back between Frazier's legs - danger averted.

Frazier working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ho manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ho has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ho slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Frazier had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ho defends it easily.
Ho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ho in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Frazier is working an open guard so Ho takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Ho or perhaps it was just good defense by Frazier which made him look bad.

Mike Frazier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ho closes the distance and clinches up with Frazier, looking for a takedown. Ho pushes Frazier against the cage but Frazier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Frazier stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ho. Frazier shrugs it off though.
Ho has a takedown stuffed.
Frazier scores with a nice strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Frazier lands a glancing blow to the side of Ho's head.
Frazier connects with a crisp jab.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mike Frazier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Frazier has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
