Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rex Stealth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Payne will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Payne!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stealth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Payne is trying to stand back up but Stealth is controlling him
Stealth perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stealth throwing shots but Payne is blocking nicely.

Stealth stands up from half guard.
Payne just misses with a punch to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Payne looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stealth throws a head kick that misses
and Payne counters with a one-two to the body.
Stealth misses with a takedown attempt - Payne sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd cheers as Payne lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stealth doesn't seem phased though.

Payne misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Stealth is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Payne's half guard.
Stealth looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stealth thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Stealth is taking a breather. Payne says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Stealth lands a nice shot to the head.
Payne tries to improve his position but instead Stealth has taken his back!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stealth lands a shot to the body.

Stealth is looking for the choke from the back position but Payne is controlling his hands well.
Payne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Payne covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Stealth throwing damaging strikes from the back! Payne could be in trouble here!

Stealth working for the choke.
Stealth definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stealth misses with punches from the back.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Payne is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Stealth.

Payne defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.

Payne lands a couple of digs.

Stealth has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Payne should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Stealth has tightened it up now! Payne should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
