Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reiner Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braun has chosen Carbon Based Lifeforms - Photosynthesis as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Braun fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barnett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Braun scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barnett doesn't seem bothered though.
Braun swings for the body but Barnett moves out of range.
Braun connects with a body shot that sends Barnett's belly button to the back.
Barnett fails in his attempt to clinch.

Barnett gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Braun.

Barnett clinches up against the cage.

Braun turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Braun manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Braun taking a break here but Barnett is having none of it and regains half guard.
Barnett controlling the position well.
Braun throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Barnett gets full guard.
Barnett has Braun pulled in close to control his posture.
Barnett manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Braun is trying to reverse the position but instead Barnett has taken his back - oops!
Barnett is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Barnett seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Braun for as long as he can get away with.
Barnett has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Barnett is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Braun taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Barnett.
