Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polo has chosen slipknot - duality as his entrance music. Marco Polo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Polo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Polo postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Webb to stand up.

Webb gets caught flat footed, as Polo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Polo throws a big right hand that misses.
Webb pulls Polo in close to prevent any damage.
Webb has a closed guard, preventing Polo from standing up.
Polo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Marco Polo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Polo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Webb looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Webb looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Webb!

Marco Polo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Polo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
