Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christian Weber has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyka gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Weber manages to break the clinch.

Boyka closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Weber's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Boyka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Weber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boyka wants to control from the top but Weber keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boyka bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boyka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weber keeps working.

Weber is fighting off a takedown attempt but Boyka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Weber to the mat. Weber regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Weber wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Boyka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Boyka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
