Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matyas Vitez!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wilkinson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wilkinson showed some decent athleticism there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wilkinson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Wilkinson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Wilkinson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Wilkinson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vitez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilkinson circles away quickly and effectively.

Wilkinson looks up at the clock and then as Vitez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wilkinson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilkinson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Vitez has escaped the position, nice work there.
Trenton Wilkinson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wilkinson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Wilkinson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Wilkinson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Wilkinson apologises and we restart here on the feet.
