Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wun Dun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Valakas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wun Dun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fabricio Valakas!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dun forces Valakas back against the cage and clinches.

Dun gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Valakas regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dun throwing strikes from guard but Valakas blocks nicely.

Valakas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dun manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dun got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valakas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dun has managed to get both his arms back between Valakas's legs - danger averted.
Valakas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dun is defending against the submission attempts here by Valakas.
Dun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valakas on the ground.
Dun works his way to full guard. Good work.

Valakas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Valakas pushes down on Dun's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Dun slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dun seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dun controls Valakas momentarily but Valakas frees himself.

Valakas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Valakas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Valakas stands and throws Dun's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dun tries to buck Valakas off but Valakas is having none of it.
Dun is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Dun wants to control but Valakas postures up.

Dun regains half guard.
Dun is trying to get back to full guard.
Valakas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Valakas is thwarting Dun's attempts to control the position.
Dun is trying is best to control the position here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Wun Dun wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Valakas shoots in for a takedown but Dun shows good takedown defense.

Dun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dun definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Valakas fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Dun decides to pull guard.
Dun is trying to keep Valakas in close.
Valakas stopping the sweep attempt from Dun.

Valakas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Valakas wants to control from the top but Dun keeps moving.
Dun is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Dun has an active guard here but Valakas has managed to pass into half guard.

Valakas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dun is just riding it out for now. Valakas eventually gives up the hold.

Valakas is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dun is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A very excited looking Fabricio Valakas rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
