And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stig Helmer!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helmer misses with a double jab
and Engineer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Helmer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Engineer stacks Helmer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Engineer!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Helmer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Engineer circles away quickly and effectively.

enabling Engineer to counter with a crisp jab.
Helmer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Engineer tries to avoid it but Helmer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Engineer to the ground. Engineer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Engineer throws a hook to the side of Helmer's head but Helmer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Engineer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Helmer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Engineer as he avoids it easily.
Polish Engineer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stig Helmer.

A less than humble Polish Engineer misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
