The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leben misses with a double jab.
Leben fails to land the takedown.
Leben throws a leg kick but Demarce checks it.
Leben throws a low kick but Demarce avoids it.
Leben misses with a double jab.
Leben lands with a cross.
Chris Leben seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leben lands a body shot.
Leben throws a solid leg kick but Demarce takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Leben.
Leben misses with a series of wild punches.
Demarce looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Demarce fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leben sprawls well initially but Demarce persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Leben won't allow Demarce to pass to mount.
Demarce is nestled in close to Leben, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Demarce is working for a submission of some sort.
Ground and pound from Demarce.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Demarce working over Leben with some ground and pound. Leben looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Demarce wants to free his trapped foot but Leben is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Demarce takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Demarce sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Leben defending well though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Demarce looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Leben pushes Demarce off but Demarce dives into side control.

Demarce has hold of Leben's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Leben seems comfortable defending it but Demarce has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Leben is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Leben is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Demarce couldn't care less - he's delighted!
