Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Moe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Moe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Askren's waist but Askren gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moe off to one side.

Askren drives through with a takedown into Moe's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've been hearing good reports from Askren's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moe can do anything to dispel that myth.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Askren! Moe is hurt baaadly! Askren is firing away with more strikes - Moe is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
