Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Porter Barton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stuart Stardust!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stardust throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barton.
Stardust throws an off balance right hand

so Barton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Barton throwing strikes but missing.
Barton landing with the ground and pound.
Stardust really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barton gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Stardust swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Barton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Barton.

Barton jumps into guard, dragging Stardust to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barton has control of Stardust's left arm, preventing Stardust from doing any damage.
Stardust tries to stand but Barton is controlling from the bottom.
Stardust wants to stand and escape but instead Barton has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Barton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Stardust fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barton manages to avoid it.

Barton shoots in looking for a takedown but Stardust manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Stardust throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barton was covering up waiting for the punch and Stardust finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Barton pushes Stardust off and gets back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Stuart Stardust comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Stardust has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
