Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julle Bulle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rolst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julle Bulle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Rolst!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rolst throws a lazy right hand but Bulle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bulle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A combination from Rolst does no damage.
Bulle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rolst connects with a jab.
Bulle looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rolst's corner calls for a 1-2. Rolst obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rolst misses with a double jab.
Rolst fails to land the takedown.
Rolst has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bulle is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bulle slips a jab and a cross from Rolst.
Rolst throws out a powerful jab.
A head kick misses from Bulle.
Rolst shoots in for a takedown but Bulle shows good takedown defense.
Rolst fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Julle Bulle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Rolst.
Rolst misses with a body shot.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bulle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bulle moves into the clinch.

Bulle leaning against his opponent.
A frustrated look appears on Rolst's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bulle has Rolst pressed against the cage, preventing Rolst from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Rolst tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bulle smiles and moves away.
Rolst misses with a wild combination.
Rolst throws a hook but Bulle avoids it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Danga de danga de dang - Rolst scores with a four punch combination!
Rolst shoots in but Bulle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rolst's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rolst duly obliges.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bulle. Rolst shrugs it off though.
Rolst moves out of range of the body kick.
Nice sprawl there from Bulle as Rolst shoots in.
Rolst is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bulle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rolst avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rolst looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rolst shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bulle eats them both and turns towards Rolst to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bulle lands with a kick to the temple. Rolst shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bulle lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bulle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rolst closes the distance and clinches up with Bulle, looking for a takedown. Rolst pushes Bulle against the cage but Bulle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bulle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rolst has a takedown stuffed.
Rolst tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bulle swivels and escapes.

Rolst gets tackled into the cage by Bulle. Bulle maintains the clinch.
Bulle is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Rolst has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rolst tries to pull guard but Bulle holds him up against the cage and eventually Rolst drops back down to his feet.
Rolst is pushing Bulle up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee is keeping an eye on Bulle - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rolst tries to pull guard but Bulle holds him up against the cage and eventually Rolst drops back down to his feet.
Rolst's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bulle has Rolst pushed against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Bulle for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Julle Bulle will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Bulle explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Rolst shoots in but Bulle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rolst will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bulle lands a nice looking body kick.
Bulle moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Rolst has a takedown stuffed.
Bulle chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bulle thows a body kick. Rolst tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Rolst is breathing heavily.
Bulle slips a jab from Rolst.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bulle is looking to land body kicks.
An inside leg kick lands from Bulle.
Julle Bulle is winning the standup battle so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rolst misses with a looping left.

Bulle lands a big head kick that sends Rolst tumbling to the mat! Bulle takes a step backwards and waves Rolst back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mike Rolst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle, before Bulle throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Rolst's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bulle lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Julle Bulle!
