Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lance Seagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pertti Silsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silsa has chosen Candy by Robbie Williams as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lance Seagan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pertti Silsa!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silsa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Seagan throws out a leg kick but Silsa moves out of range and Seagan only half commits.
Seagan finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Seagan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silsa checks the leg kick.
Seagan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Silsa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Seagan wants to slow Silsa down by chopping away at his legs.
A head kick misses from Seagan.
The crowd cheers as Seagan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silsa doesn't seem phased though.
Silsa thows a body shot but no joy.
Seagan walks into a left hand.
Seagan throws a leg kick

and Silsa counters with a single leg into guard. Seagan didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Silsa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Seagan wants to stand but Silsa is controlling the position.
Seagan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Seagan wants to get back to his feet but Silsa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Silsa passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Seagan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Silsa cracks Seagan with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Silsa is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Seagan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Silsa wants to control but Seagan is keeping him busy.
The referee asks Silsa politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Silsa prefers to stall for the moment though.

Silsa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Seagan is not content to let Silsa control the position.

Seagan tries to buck Silsa off but Silsa is having none of it.
Seagan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silsa on the ground.
Seagan tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seagan holding both Silsa 's hands and preventing any damage.

Silsa lands a shot to the body.
Seagan tries to break free.
Seagan wants to get back to his feet.

Silsa is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Seagan is defending well though. Silsa let's go of the attempt for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silsa trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Seagan doesn't escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Seagan defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Silsa's arms.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pertti Silsa dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Seagan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Seagan ducks under a wild hook from Silsa.
Silsa moves in looking to clinch but Seagan pushes him off.
Seagan scores with a leg kick.
Seagan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Silsa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Silsa keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Silsa takes a swing at Seagan's ribcage but misses.
Silsa dips to his left and cracks Seagan with an uppercut!


It looks like Lance Seagan has been cut.
Silsa swings for the body but Seagan moves out of range.
Silsa checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Silsa keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Good work by Silsa as he checks the leg kick.
Seagan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Silsa checks a leg kick.
Seagan connects with a leg kick. Silsa looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Silsa throws a solid leg kick but Seagan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Silsa.
Seagan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silsa.

Silsa forces Seagan back against the cage and clinches.
Silsa tries for a takedown but Seagan manages to get underhooks.
Seagan is trying to force a seperation but Silsa has the dominant position.
Seagan blocks a body shot from Silsa.

Silsa tightens his grip and picks Seagan up, before dumping him to the ground. Seagan manages to land in guard.
Silsa prevents Seagan from getting back to his feet.
Seagan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Silsa dives into side control.
Silsa scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Seagan to see if he's OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Seagan pushes Silsa away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Silsa gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silsa is looking to take a break and control but Seagan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Seagan wants to control but Silsa postures up.

Silsa is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Seagan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Silsa gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Seagan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silsa lets go of the hold and Seagan can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pertti Silsa!
An out of breath Pertti Silsa thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
