Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Backstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arne Saarrinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arne Saarrinen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backstrom looks for a takedown but Saarrinen sprawls well.
Saarrinen connects with a solid leg kick.

and Backstrom decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Saarrinen's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Backstrom stands up from Saarrinen's guard - Backstrom perhaps looking for a knockout.

Backstrom shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Saarrinen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Backstrom connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Saarrinen some visible discomfort.

Backstrom stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Backstrom changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saarrinen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Backstrom is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Saarrinen will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Backstrom has hold of Saarrinen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Saarrinen seems comfortable defending it but Backstrom has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Saarrinen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Saarrinen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Backstrom couldn't care less - he's delighted!
