Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dwain Mcmillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dwain Mcmillan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcmillan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

George Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mcmillan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mcmillan lands a lovely overhand right.
Mcmillan lunges at Jackson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jackson's hand.
Mcmillan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mcmillan clinches up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcmillan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Mcmillan has Jackson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mcmillan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jackson tumbling to the mat - Mcmillan dives into Jackson's guard.
Mcmillan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jackson's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson controls Mcmillan momentarily but Mcmillan frees himself.
Mcmillan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mcmillan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mcmillan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mcmillan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jackson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Mcmillan throws a low kick but Jackson avoids it.
Mcmillan has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Mcmillan.

Jackson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mcmillan after a bit of a struggle.
Mcmillan is trying to drag Jackson to the mat but Jackson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mcmillan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Mcmillan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mcmillan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jackson feints a jab promting Mcmillan to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mcmillan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A punch lands to the side of Jackson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Mcmillan is looking for a kimura but Jackson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mcmillan to get the leverage.

Mcmillan is working Jackson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Mcmillan gets to his feet. Jackson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mcmillan stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken.
Dwain Mcmillan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Mcmillan.

Jackson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Jackson gets underhooks to prevent Mcmillan's takedown attempt.

Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mcmillan backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dwain Mcmillan.
Well Mcmillan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
