Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Kilpinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kilpinen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brown takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kilpinen misses with a looping left.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kilpinen thows a body shot but no joy.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kilpinen as he jumps to the side.
Kilpinen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brown.
Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Brown darts in looking for a takedown but Kilpinen gets double underhooks and turns Brown into the cage.
Brown goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Brown lands a shoulder strike.
Kilpinen has Brown pressed against the cage.
Brown scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Brown tries to stall but Kilpinen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

It looks like Tony Brown has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Brown throws a punch but it's blocked by Kilpinen.
Kilpinen utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Kilpinen drops Brown with a big knee straight up the middle! Brown is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Brown is rocked!
Brown is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown has a takedown stuffed.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kilpinen lands a right hand from hell, dropping Brown. Kilpinen pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaakko Kilpinen!
After winning the bout, Jaakko Kilpinen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
