Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tonothan Kuhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Madison Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuhula kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Native Drums from the South Pacific. Grant has chosen donald wheres your troosers as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tonothan Kuhula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Madison Grant!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhula misses with a wild combination.
Kuhula throws a series of punches but Grant moves out of range.
Kuhula throws a right hand that Grant ducks under and follows up with a left that Grant also avoids with ease.
Kuhula lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grant circles away quickly and effectively.
Kuhula throws a body punch but Grant moves out of range.
Grant shoots in for a takedown but Kuhula shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A punch combination from Kuhula misses.
Kuhula lands with a hook. Grant tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kuhula connects with a nice looking jab.


It looks like Madison Grant has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Grant shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kuhula manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kuhula is looking to stand up but Grant isn't so interested in that idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Grant is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Grant prevents Kuhula from getting back to his feet.
Kuhula preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Grant drops back looking for a leg! Kuhula is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kuhula manages to kick Grant off! Grant jumps back into Kuhula's guard.

Kuhula is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Grant presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grant has Kuhula pressed against the cage, preventing Kuhula from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kuhula as Grant tries to tie him up.
Grant is working for takedown but Kuhula is calmly controlling the position for now.
Grant wants a takedown but no success here.
Tonothan Kuhula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Madison Grant.
Grant is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kuhula is defending well.
Grant tries to score a body lock takedown but Kuhula shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Grant has Kuhula pressed against the cage, preventing Kuhula from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kuhula tries to break the clinch but Grant is controlling the position.
Grant has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kuhula after a bit of a struggle.

Kuhula breaks from the clinch.
Kuhula lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grant doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kuhula connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Nice uppercut there from Kuhula.
Grant closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kuhula misses with a two punch combination.
Kuhula moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


That has opened up Madison Grant's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grant closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kuhula circles away.
Grant uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kuhula.
Kuhula throws a combination. Grant tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Grant gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


The cut above Madison Grant's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kuhula throws a nice looking combination but Grant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kuhula lands a jab to the head.


Madison Grant's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Kuhula tries to sprawl but Grant drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Grant looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kuhula wants to improve his position but Grant is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kuhula is looking to control Grant's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kuhula avoid being mounted?
Grant trying to control the action but Kuhula is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tonothan Kuhula dominated that round.

Kuhula looks to land a right hand but Grant moved out of range.
Kuhula scores with the left hand. Grant knows he should have avoided that one.
Kuhula is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A jab from Kuhula finds it's way through Grant's defenses.
Tonothan Kuhula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuhula throws a jab when Grant was well out of range.

Kuhula drops Grant with a beautiful combination! Grant stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kuhula is looking for the KO!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Madison Grant's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tonothan Kuhula!
