The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins missing with a left hand there. Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Collins staying out of range there.
Left hook, right uppercut from Collins.

It looks like Adonis Silva has been cut.
Collins throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Collins sprawls well.
Some wild striking there from Collins.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No joy there for Collins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Collins!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Silva wants to control but Collins is keeping him busy.
Silva misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Silva laying and praying for a moment but Collins takes advantage and regains half guard.

Silva is trying to control. Collins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Silva frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Silva cracks Collins with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
A nice elbow there by Silva.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Silva unloads with some shots from mount but Collins bucks and avoids them well.

The referee warns Collins that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
