Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conway comes into the arena with Money in The Bank blaring out of the sound system. Ryan Conway could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jesse Hall's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Conway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 49 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Hall misses the target.
Conway fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Conway tries for a takedown but Hall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hall misses with a wild body shot.
A swing and a miss from Hall.
A left and a right from Hall both land. Nice combination.
Hall fails to land with a series of punches.
Jab, jab by Hall - just one landing.
Conway walks into a jab.
Hall defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Conway.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Conway. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hall wants to slow Conway down by chopping away at his legs.
Ryan Conway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conway looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hall throws a nice looking combination but Conway bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Conway slips under a jab.
Hall misses with a hook. Conway ducked under it nicely.
Hall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Conway is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hall drops Conway with a right and a left! Hall comes rushing in but Conway regains his composure and manages to keep Hall in guard.


Conway is rocked!


It looks like Ryan Conway has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hall wanted to stand there but Conway had control of the position.
Oh Conway is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Conway seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Conway manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Conway escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall throws a sloppy head kick and Conway moves out of range easily.
Hall misses with a two punch combination.

Conway scores with a takedown into Hall's guard.
Conway postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Conway looking to sit in guard and control but Hall gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Conway is proving hard to escape from.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall preventing the sweep.
Hall is looking to stand up but Conway won't let him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Conway is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Conway forces his way into half guard.
Hall is looking to improve his position.

Conway seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Conway is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Conway works his foot free and advances to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hall is squirming around, avoiding Conway's attempts to control the action.
Hall gets back to half guard.
Conway is taking a breather. Hall says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Conway is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hall is looking for a sweep. Conway is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Conway is looking to pass Hall's guard but actually Hall recovers to full guard.
Hall wants to stand but Conway is controlling the position.
Hall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Conway's guard.
Conway trying to keep a closed guard but Hall is proving a slippery customer.
Hall wanted to stand there but Conway had control of the position.
Hall preventing the sweep.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hall is pushing down on Conway's leg trying to pass to half guard. Conway is fighting to maintain full guard but Hall has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hall is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Conway is trying to stand back up but Hall is controlling him
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse Hall dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ryan Conway's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Conway is defended easily by Hall.
Hall moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hall cracks a nice hook into Conway's ribs.
Conway ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Conway takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A jab lands there for Hall.
Conway avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Conway tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hall swivels and escapes.
Conway shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hall but Hall pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Conway. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hall pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hall waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Conway.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall throws a left and a right that both miss

and Conway counters by moving into the clinch.
Hall pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Conway breaks the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hall tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Conway is able to avoid easily.

Conway shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Conway was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Conway working the strikes but Hall uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Hall wants to get back to his feet.
We've been hearing good reports from Conway's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Conway is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hall defends it well.
Conway moves into full mount! Hall won't be happy about that!

Conway looking to secure an arm triangle but Hall defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall tries to reverse the position but Conway maintains control.
Conway trying to control but Hall is having none of it.
Hall in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Conway postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Hall bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Conway and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Conway!
A very excited looking Ryan Conway made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
