Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Javier Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen Seal - Whirlpool as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez wants to clinch up but Wilson keeps it at a distance.
Martinez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wilson back to the cage. Martinez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Wilson closes the distance and pushes Martinez back into the cage.
Wilson prevents Martinez from breaking the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Martinez is trying to break the clinch but Wilson has him pressed against the cage.

It looks like Javier Martinez has been cut.

We've been informed that Wilson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Martinez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Martinez wants to break the clinch but can't.
Martinez looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Wilson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martinez misses with a double jab
and Wilson counters with a three punch combo that has Martinez backing up. Martinez nods at Wilson to acknowledge the strikes.

Martinez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wilson feints a jab promting Martinez to slip. Wilson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Martinez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Martinez throws a body kick that misses.
Martinez throws a series of strikes that have Wilson backpedaling.
Wilson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Martinez to score with a decent uppercut.
Wilson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martinez pinned against the cage. Martinez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wilson moves out of range of the body kick.
Tyler Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wilson lands a big head kick that sends Martinez tumbling to the mat! Wilson takes a step backwards and waves Martinez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Martinez wants to stand back up but Wilson manages to pass into side control.
Martinez is looking to get back to his feet here but Wilson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Martinez's back.

Wilson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Martinez controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Wilson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Martinez is squirming around, avoiding Wilson's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that Martinez really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Wilson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Martinez can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Javier Martinez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tyler Wilson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
