Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Sammir Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Oquinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the ring accompanied by Delisia. Oquinn has chosen Damian - King Gordy as his entrance music. Damien Oquinn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

Brooks feints and then cracks Oquinn's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Oquinn down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and whilst Oquinn still has his hands down, Brooks counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Oquinn crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Oquinn be able to survive another onslaught?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brooks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Oquinn.

Damien Oquinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oquinn scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Brooks to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oquinn dances in with a quick combination. Brooks is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Oquinn snaps Brooks's head back. Brooks stumbles backwards against the ropes. Oquinn steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Brooks's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Brooks just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Damien Oquinn!
Damien Oquinn got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
