Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Parsons!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lucas.
Parsons is looking to clinch.
Lucas pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Parsons looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Parsons feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Parsons trying to control but Lucas is working from the bottom.
Parsons tries to free his leg and advance position but Lucas is retaining full guard.
Parsons postures up and lands a big shot to Lucas's brow.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parsons accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Parsons works over Lucas with some ground and pound from guard.
Parsons in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parsons throws a big right hand that misses.
Parsons is fighting to break Lucas's control of his arms but Lucas is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Parsons passes into half guard.
Parsons slips a nice elbow through Lucas's hands, connecting with Lucas's forehead.

Lucas wants to get back to full guard.
Parsons thows a huge punch but Lucas dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Parsons lands a nice short elbow.
Lucas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Parsons sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lucas defending well though.
Parsons throwing shots but Lucas is blocking nicely.
Parsons thows a huge punch but Lucas dodges it nicely.

Parsons content to control rather than advance.

Parsons is trying to control the action in half guard but Lucas is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Parsons takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Parsons lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Parsons with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Parsons throwing shots but Lucas is blocking nicely.
Nice strikes from Parsons there.
Lucas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lucas preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Parsons looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Parsons lands with a punch from half guard.


Lucas is rocked!
Parsons scores with a big shot! Lucas's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Lucas! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Parsons!
A very excited looking Jack Parsons rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
