Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osvaldo Floyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Lomov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Lomov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Osvaldo Floyd's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lomov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Floyd could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Floyd shoots in for a double leg but Lomov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A head kick misses from Floyd.
Floyd circles away from the clinch attempt
and Floyd counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lomov is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Lomov lands a left and a right that send Floyd crashing to the mat, dazed. Lomov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Osvaldo Floyd has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lomov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Floyd to the mat! Floyd manages to get full guard.
Floyd tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Floyd throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Lomov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Floyd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alex Lomov wasn't active enough on the ground.

Lomov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Floyd's half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Osvaldo Floyd will probably get the nod.

Well Lomov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
